Founded in 1992, Direct Source, Inc is focused on delivering in-store solutions to Tier One retailers. We are now interviewing for Field Technicians as Independent contractors (1099 status) for our Deployment Team for the upcoming year. As a 1099 Contract Field Tech for DSI you will deploy at the store level for individual stores or multiple stores on a route either traveling or locally based. Key deployment services include: Point-of-sale, Payment terminals, Barcode Scanners and Scanner-scales, Servers, Data cabling, and Network hardware.All techs must have a laptop preferably with a serial port or serial port adapter, cell phone, digital camera (no cell phone cameras), valid drivers license and reliable vehicle. All technicians must be authorized to work in the US. Experience as a lead tech, field tech and any retail experience is highly preferred.These positions are project-based and are on a contract basis.
