Description
We have 3 semi truck tractors that need some work and a 7 yard Hough loader that needs some work that we would like to trade for a good, later model semi tractor and end dump that is road and DOT ready.
First we have a 1962 Kenworth GL on a 1985 Kenworth frame. This truck is awesome, really. It needs a lot of TLC but is a great runner. It has a BC (big cam) Cummins, 10 speed trans backed by a 4 speed aux. This truck easily does 110 MPH.
Secondly we have a 1981 Kenworth. This is a heavy hauling truck with a BC cummins, 2 stage jakes, 5 speed trans backed by a 4 speed aux. The shifter on this truck needs some timing adjustments. Once we get it into OD we cant get it out without a bunch of bull. We dont want to mess with this anymore so our loss is your gain. This is still a really good truck (see white truck below).
Third we have a 1979 Peterbilt. It also has a BC Cummins(??) and 10 speed Eaton RTO transmission. I know the truck starts and moves but I think it has a rear end problem when the interlock is engaged. This truck was simply too light to operate effectively in the mining industry so it has been parked for a long long time.
Lastly we have a 7 yard Hough loader. A really bright mechanic dumped gear oil in the crankcase instead of Delo and it spun every main bearing. It will need a overhaul.
What we want: I am looking for a good, reliable, DOT and MSHA inspect-able late model semi-tractor and end dump OR a semi-tractor and Bobcat would suffice too. We would want to trade you straight across. If you want to buy this lot we are asking $25,000 for the whole thing so we can get a newer truck and end dump.
